One of the
most important occasions of the person's life after birth is
the wedding ceremony as it places value on that particular
moment when man and woman have decided to be united in a
bond that will influence the rest of their lives. Therefore,
the ceremony must be held in a beautiful and sacred way.
To arrange the
wedding, a couple is requested to stay a minimum of one
night at Laem Set Inn. And for wedding couple, Honeymoon
Suite sound to be the best accommodation, but you can always
opt for other rooms.
The day starts
with alms giving. The couple will be giving foods and other
necessities to the monks early in the morning. The bride and
groom are then separated to prepare for ceremony.
The most
interesting part of the wedding ceremony is a procession of
"Khan Mark" (offering items) as relatives and friends of the
groom dance their way to the house of the bride with their
hands full of offering.
A village
elder performs the ceremony. The exchange of rings takes
place at the bride's resident. Later the couple will be
asked to sit to accept the blessings that come along the
pouring of water over their hands.
Throughout the
ceremony bride, groom and other guests will be dressed in
Thai Traditional costume.

Later in the
evening the newly wedded couple can either choose a candle
light dinner in a decorated corner of the restaurant or in
their Honeymoon Suite for more privacy. To add a more
romantic atmosphere, we can also arrange a musician with
their own choice of instrument (guitar, violin or flute) to
play their favorite song on that very special night. |
